Forgive my ignorance
do you need to install the hot keys separately as with 09-x5b?
If so how do you do it?
I get permission denied when I try and delete the current hot key folder...which is another way of saying - how do I get up level administrator privileges.....?? It's different to 'root' in linux I understand.

Thanks
Andrew

ps how to cut and paste the licence code to undemo? my 09-6a is not having a bar of it....
pps any chance of adding a shortcut in your left click mouse menu of "Play in XX High End" and "Enqueue in XX High End" ala Foobar so I can go straight from folder instead of from inside the player (which is a pain).

Look for the following file in your Undemoe'd folder and COPY it into your new folder ......  XXHighEnd1xx.DAT

Won't happen until Peter creates a 'setup' file, which , as part of it's install process, will let the system know of a new application that can handle the difference media. While in its current form ( ie. simply unzip contents into a folder of your choice ), the system is completely ignorant of the existence of XXHE. It's on his todo list towards the end of the "beta" stage.

per discussions a couple of days ago, simply drop the updated XX.ahk file into the old folder. Shut down AutoHotKey, fire up 0.9x-6a, fire up AutoHotJey again and it should find the path to 0.9x-6a now

Cheers,

I can't be sure because I don't know what you did (and how) to create that folder, but I would try to start Explorer "as Administrator" (rightclick on the Explorer icon, and choose "Run as Administrator"). And then try again ...

I have shut off UAC (Vista/SP0 here) and I actually am not bothered anymore by such things. But generally, for Vista, keep in mind that "levels must match". This example makes perfectly clear what I mean (I think) : when you run XXHighEnd as administrator, but with Explorer you don't, it is not allowed to drag files from Explorer to XXHighEnd.
Similar happens with copying files to certain areas, and for sure this happens when you create a folder "as administrator", but later want to delete it as not.

If you keep this strategy in mind, you will be able to find out what to do.
Next is that you will come to the conclusion that all is unworkable, which would be correct IMO.
So, shutting off UAC is the only real solution.

I can tell you that the other day I thought of a way on how to do it outside an official install (see Russ's words). I only didn't get to it yet.
