hello P
I have severe problems with both 5 and 5b ; they end up not working at all and I went back to 4
could not get taskbar up again whatever I clicked and finally machine does not accept playing with 5 or 5 b
even after several restarts they don´t work
got fed up,have not got time for this,sry
4 is ok as long as I have q 2&3 to 17.
wait for next version

tried again y-day evening also with help from my son and we could not make 5 start at all :
xx window flickers as usual,but bar at bottom does not move
have tried with and without hotkeys installed
first time I tried it worked,but never after?
back to 4 and all is well

Leif, please do this : In your 0.9x-5b folder, there will be a Librarydata.txt file. Throw it out. There will be a Favorites.txt. Throw it out. A !Played.plxx. Same. A !CurrentlyPlaying.plxx. Ditto. Remark : I am not sure right now whether all these files are just visible, and they may show only when you have set hidden files to show. Now, I don't want you to get into too much trouble, so you could just leave it to this, or throw out the files you indeed can see. I may even be forgetting one or two ... The next version will contain some kind of emergency thing that does it for you. So you might wait for that if you want.  Peter |

Sorry Leif. I don't think I can get what you mean. But I will make that emergency procedure. Ok ? Edit : Yes, the !CurrentlyPlaying.plxx is always replaced by the, well, currently playin Playlist. The question for the removal of it was just becasue it may cause anomalies by itself. After removing it, and that doesn't help, it's not the problem. bar doesn´t move though I merely suspect that you are dealing with the problem here : Re: Spdif digital out only???. My advice : wait for the next version (although the solution most probably is in the post I just referred to). Thank you for your patience.  Peter |
