Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and I'm posting at Peter's suggestion.
I have activated XXHighend and it is in my opinion the best audio player i have ever heard. But I have a problem: it crashes very often, I can't listen to an entire album. What could be the problem? I have an computer with intel i3 (4 gb of ram), dac Chord Mojo.

Do you get any error messages, does the application "hang", does it just quit. Can you explain a bit more what you mean by "crashes". Could you also add some information on the parameters you are using with XXHE: The Q values, SFS, etc.

Hi Vincenzo, welcome here ! First question would be : what does it mean "crashing" ? I mean, usually nothing ends or quits without an error message of some sort. Once exception in this case : being in Demo mode. So are you sure the program is out of Demo Mode ? Regarding that, please carefully read the instructions in the Activation Email you received - this is about the Red Bordered Coverart (or Yellow when still in Demo mode). So can it be that ? (also see picture below for the Red border) If not, any messages from the program to share ? And just to be sure : I don't recognize any crashing at all. Vincenzo, in that case take care that the "SFS" Ramesh referred to, is sufficiently low, like say max 20. This depends on more settings (like the Contiguous Memory setting), but have it at 20 (the Max SFS also) is a good idea. This sits in the Memory section in Settings.
I recall that the required Memory is 4GB. Preferably more (it is convenient to have more - you will learn later why that is).

I deleted the app and the XXdata folder and reinstalled, setting different values. The last configuration is the following: Q1 = 14, xQ1 = 1, Q3 / Q4 / Q5 = 0, SFS min 4 max 20, scheme core 1-2, clock res 0.5 ms, device buffer size 2048.
Nothing to do, I always have the same result. After 20/30 minutes of consecutive listening to an album, the app closes and does not report errors ...

I do not believe. I activated the license. Peter told me that XXE in demo freezes after 6.40 minutes.

Vincenzo, the demo quits all together after 6 minutes the soonest and 30 minutes the latest.
Reinstalling XXHighEnd 100% definitely brings it in demo mode again. You need a new Activation Code now. But no worries, ... see your email ...
