Peter, lately 2.09 stops suddenly sometimes before playing anything, sometimes after playing the first track. It looks also that the memory is out of storage, could be because now I'm using SFS: 10?

Hi Juan, Looks more like a virus, or a virus scanner to me (I know, both are a bit opposite). But that NOT assumed : Did you check your Max SFS setting ? I found mine on 2850 yesterday and this does not really look right. It may consume all the memory and this is what you are thinking of to begin with (I don't know how, but ...  ). Postcard(1).jpg does not exist from over here. Only if you put it in there yourself. So maybe check whether it really exists. The first message you showed I have never seen but very theoretically could spring from DEP (Data Execution Protection) - notice that Google shows me no proof of that. Did you look at the JPG ? I mean what picture was in it ?
(if not, don't attempt to, because of ... virus ...)

Peter, I had already looked at it but I don't t know how it could have been there because I don't use Internet since a long time ago. Maybe some file received some time ago. It was the cover of a CD. I have passed the Windows Defender and has not found anything. For now all good. I cross my fingers

Juan, you won't believe it, but I just had it myself ... Why now ? why you now too ? ... no idea yet. That Postcard(1).jpg file is the background picture I assigned myself to the background in XXHighEnd and which gets copied along with an install. Preceeding that message I got a "disk full" or something like that, knowing that I loaded two more large albums in the Playlist Area and pressed Play for Unattended. So nothing strange to me that such a thing next happens. I deleted nothing but let XXHighEnd do it's (deletion) job by starting and quitting. Now all plays again without hurdles. See you in 30 minutes.  Let me know if it happens again. I will do so too. Peter |

Peter, I deleted the file but I still have it in the Recicle bin, just in case. I think that the process was the same as yours, I mean, I loaded two albums, one of them was hdcd. Then I received the message of not enough space in the disc and the other two messages.
Previously but approximately at the same time another strange thing happened for the first time ever, suddenly the sound came in loop repeating continuously maybe two or three seconds of the track I was listening. I'm not sure if this is related to the other issue but I let you know in case it makes any sense to you.
Also from some time I have heard several tics in a row like a crackling. That did not happen either.
So far after removing the files y and rebooting, there is no problem and everything is fine.

Juan, nah I don't think so. Yesterday I again fired up an album which seemed to large to fit in memory and I had the Postcard(1).jpg problem. Before that (the album played and) a track ran into a loop for its SFS size, which normally does not happen. Then at bringing up XXHighEnd I got the Portcard message and at again a restart of XXHighEnd I received out of memory messages (which certainly will have been justified).
I could not get it right any more and had to reboot the PC (running from RAM).
I must say that by now this won't be coincidence that you had it a couple of times, and me too. So something must have changed but hard to tell what it is.
