It looks like this is all getting to us ?  Apparently... Happy that I've waited with the 10565 install to find out that it should have been 10568.0... I'll lean back and stick to 10240 for a while longer. Cheers! Bert |

I tried to download the 10586-iso now and got the 10240-iso instead.
From Windows tenforums: "UPDATE: The downloadable ISO files at Microsoft in the tutorial have gone back to RTM build 10240. "

That is correct in itself.
I don't think it matters much, but the W8 OS we ship with the XXHighEnd PC is without Windows Media Player as well (we strip if off). Otherwise the N version would be the legal one for Europe (but I assume everybody will care less).
How this relates to the message I read a few weeks ago that Windows Media Player ceased (or will cease) to exist, is something else.

I tried to download the 10586-iso now and got the 10240-iso instead.
From Windows tenforums: "UPDATE: The downloadable ISO files at Microsoft in the tutorial have gone back to RTM build 10240. "

Hi Harald, Well, maybe people start to see thee truth in my messages about Microsoft completely f*cking up with this Windows 10. OK, the OS version we talked about yesterday (and a bit today already again as well) is 10586.0. So this is the one I installed myself by now half-way; I don't know yet whether it also shows that ".0" in XXHighEnd but anyway it is not ".3" or anyhing else. So it should be the first 10586 version which MS put up Nov. 12 or 13 (2015). Everybody with an XXHighEnd 2.xx license who likes to download exactly this one, can send me an email and I will provide a link to it (this is a friendly private excersise (not mine)).
