Stanley,
I tried it and the sound was horrible (after a nice calibration). But :
At that time the max input was 96KHz only (and we like more
) plus it wouldn't filter beyond 22KHz (required for HiRes). Next I have been in contact with them, and the support is 100% lousy; was hold on the line for 6 weeks or more after I finally received the message that they could not help me (which came down to that they did not *want* to help me).
Next, a couple of months later (this is maybe 8-10 months ago) they were asked on a forum whether 192KHz for input was going to be supported, and the answer was Yes, but I don't think it ever happened.
So now you know.
My guts feeling : Amateuristic product, BUT the only product which can be "hooked" into something like XXHighEnd as far as I know.
Peter
PS: I never like much to bash on a competition's product, but Dirac deserves it IMHO just because of their lousy support which 1000% commercial interest only ("Oh ? you're not going to buy/cause a 10000 licenses eh ?")
