Some issues after a new motherboard (Win 7 Pro)

Hi Peter,
After a new motherboard i have some small issues with xxhe. When i stop a unattended playback session via alt x, xxhe will sometimes shown in a smaller screen. Then i need to maximize xxhe and resize the middle pane. This happend more than once a day. I never use the the right pane. Maybe an option to disable this pane?
Second issue is that when xxhe is playing in the middle in a playlist it won't play the next track but it stops. This happens not so frequently.
Thrid issue are the wallpaper errors. I have fixed that via the parameter "after sfs rounds"=3
Fourth issue when switching to "no xtweaks" gives a dialog box with the message " error 2 writing value: TI 13". Switching to xtweaks works without a message. I get the same error when leaving the minimize OS state and followed withe the next message that "Something went wrong with resetting xtweak data to the normal state"

Try to make the XXHE screen a fair amount smaller than the monitor's screen. If you already do that then I really have no idea ...

Second issue is that when xxhe is playing in the middle in a playlist it it won't play the next track but it stops.

Should be something about the OS not responding; I know, sounds a bit simple and what to do. Maybe a higher SFS helps ?

Fourth issue when switching to "no xtweaks" gives a dialog box with the message " error 2 writing value: TI 13".

I would not worry about this (the message also tells you that). I myself have the same and so far I didn't bother to solve it.

Why should I make the xxhe screen smaller. Do you mean for test purposes? A smaller screen make xxhe unworkable. I hope you can explane why I should make the screen smaller. Why does it change automaticaly after alt-x or when it came back from unattended playback sometimes.

Johan, I don't know what super small size screen you have this time, but by now it is clear that this is the culprit. So you *do* have the XXHE screen too close to the physical screen limits.
So what happens to this regard can not be solved other than making XXHE's screen sufficiently enough smaller (just try at which size it always will be OK).

Can't it be so that you are not using the Playback Drive from RAMDisk + you have set the disks to spin off within the time music stops ?
Even if you are using the RAMDisk for Playback Drive, set the disks to spin off later than when now on estimate music stops. Just to test it ...
(this is in Control Panel - Power Management - Advanced settings)

No.

I don't know what super small size screen you have this time, but by now it is clear that this is the culprit.

Im using now for more then a year a 17" screen. It replaces the the small 8" screen.

Changed it from 20 to 30 minutes.

So now I really can't understand what is "unworkable" when the XXHE screen is (even significantly) smaller.

Can you show me a full size "monitor" screenshot including XXHE as how you normally use it ? I really like to understand this ...

Normal : See screen attachment XXHE normal use. Taskbar is allways Auto- Hide.

Sometimes it ends with a smaller screen as it happens today. See Attachment screen smal

You mean making the XXHE screen a little bit smaller then the maximum monitor screen size for testing purposes. Sorry for the misunderstanding of your suggestion. Although I have some doubts about maintaining the same XXHE screen position after a playback is finished. I will test your suggestion. Thanks. Johan

1. I suggest that the issue springs from maximizing the screen.
2. So don't do that.
3. Merely, make it significantly smaller like your 2nd screenshott shows.
4. NOT for testing - for using.
5. Now you suggest that this is not workable.
6. I ask why.
7. But I don't need the answer, because it is just not correct (I say).

If you can't live with this then
a. This is not caused by any Mobo;
b. Maybe because of auto-hiding the Taskbar;
c. Bad luck because I can't help it plus I know it is so and it has been like that since this interface (which is "years" by now).

I hope it is OK. Shoot back if needed (really) but try to avoid loops.

a: it's a bug in the software. Sometimes when XXHE came back from unattended playback the XXHE screen is half the size it was. Before the upgrade of the audio pc all was working ok;
b: I will switch it off;
c: ok bad luck it is.

So Johan, please allow me : this is non-sense. Although now at least I now what you mean.
No picture is going to be smaller becaue of this, but you can show less of them at the same time. So mind you, you would have the same remark when going from a 2 million wide screen to a 1 million wide screen. You would be correct in saying "now I can see fewer pictures". But this does not make it a legit remark (referring to bugs and all).

I can add that I myself always work with a 1280x1024 screen and I rally really can't see your issue; I also don't need to show more pictures at the same time - I really would not know why.

Then it is my suggestion that you changed something outside of that - like I said, could be the audo hide of the Taskbar (also totally unnecessary in my poor eyes). Otherwise maybe the video driver.
Fact is and remains that I have the same issue when I would maximize the screen. Yes, super bug. But the sheer fact that I am not solving it even for myself should tell you enough. But I wil lalso add that it is quite undoable. Why ? because it is related to some times people (otherwise) end up with an XXHighEnd icon on the taskbar while XXHighEnd would not appear. Now THAT I would call small, right ?

You are fooling yourself but you can't fool me. You came from a 640x480 screen and went to a 1280x1024 screen. This is 1000% something else (I multiplied by 10 just in case).

Now I hope this is settled with the notice that you seem to be the only one who *requires* full screen. Maybe that helps ?
Finally, please notice that it doesn't need to be so "super small" (LOL) as in that 2nd screen shot of yours. Leaving something like 1cm from the borders will suffice. But this is for you to test out.

Non of the suggestions are working, only after an update of all the drivers (also video) and bios of the motherboard problem seems to be solved. Thanks.
