There's the bass drivers, a mid and a tweeter (coaxial).
The sheer reason to use three amplifiers is to allow the mid-high now to be 118dB sensitive (otherwise it is 115dB).
It may come across as totally crazy, but I guess that happens when Bert is in the first place and me challenging him to let that out.
. Of course I have to be crazy too, so I am.
Point here is : This small difference of 3dB against the already very high 115dB implies so much more "speed" that once you heard that you can't go back. Of course this is all about how to let sound the cymbals etc. more right than they already did.
But really, we tried all we could think of to make it the best there is. Largely this is about the concept as a whole, and I will write more about that later.
But small hint : This guarantees a total silent (no noise at all) output, having in mind that 118dB ...
