Btw, (un)install all drivers in Normal OS Mode !
This was the first thing i did wrong. I did the (un)install in minimum OS. I switched back to normal mode and did the (un)install.
Win7 does not natively support USB3, you need drivers for w7 to be able to use a USB3 card,....
I did use the Win 7 drivers
Note that Paul Pang links to a win7 driver and a win8 driver for his card which is actually the driver for the NEC chipset on the USB card which may well be the same chipset as is on your normal USB3 card.
Yes, I think they are the same. I did use the Win 7 driver.
Uninstall the NEC driver again, uninstall the Paul Pang Driver, reinstall the NEC driver.
I did! Only a harddisk is functioning ok. Except XXHE gives a reboot after a play command.
I am not sure whether uninstalling/reinstalling the NOS1 driver at the very end can help.
I did a (un)reinstall. When I start the NOS1 Driver Control Panel, it gives direct a system reboot.
what about just reverting to that Restore Point ?
I can't find a restore point before the deinstallation of the drivers.
I'll give up!
I was thinking to buy a new motherboard and a i5 processor. I think it's time to replace the old machine. Peter shall I use Windows 8 or do I need to wait for ....?????
Thanks Anthony and Peter,
Best Regards,
Johan
