Edit June 2013 : All of the below is obsolete.
When all in this "Windows 8 Tutorials" has not been applied, you may encounter the following (combination of) situations :
[notice that this all assumes that you have set your UAC (User Account Control) Level to the lowest position. This is a requirement anyway.]
- After Starting XXHighEnd you will be presented with a Windows message telling you that .Net 3.5 is needed but is not installed.
- After starting XXHighEnd the Phasure OCX Install starts up, but right after clicking OK to do so, XXHighEnd chrashes.
- You were able to install the Phasure OCX all right, but after that XXHighEnd will tell you that you didn't run it "as Administrator" and you are told things will fail. And if not that, they just will (all kind of error messages will be your part).
- As a variation to the latter, you will be presented a message "better not to continue". This looks nice, and actually it is, because when you enter Yes here to continue after all, all WILL be okay. Two things to remark :
- You will have hacked things differently and are quite okay;
- The message to better not continue will always pop up, and Unattended usage will be suite impossible because of it.
IMPORTANT :Because of the messy situation you may have ran into already (meaning : before applying these "Windows 8 Tutorials", you may have been playing with other accounts and more sh*t to overcome the problems. By itself this is fine. However, because of your attempts the "rights" state of the Phasure OSX install may now be wrong. It is therefore strongly advised to now FIRST uninstall that Phasure OSX for each Account you installed it under. To do this :
Go to the Metro Desktop, rightclick on it, choose All Apps (bottom right corner) and find Control Panel. Run that and in there find Programs and Features.
Find Phasure OSX in there, rightclick it and choose Uninstall.
Now follow the other Windows 8 Tutorials.
