Help my DAC synchronizing

Sometimes my DAC has problems to synchronize with the incoming signal (SPDIF) timely and a small part of the track is missing. XXHighend should be able to add a configurable synchronizing sequence added in front of the track.

G'day Georg,

are you certain the trouble in with your DAC and not XXHE itself missing the first part of some tracks, which has been a problem for some in the past. A search through the forum should bring up the discussions. I can't recall the exact remedy, if there was a specific cause, but those discussions may suggest avenues to try.

What time period are the missing pieces? In the order of a second or two , or perhaps just a momentary glitch?

I noticed you list your Jui@ card as "modded". Perhaps that "mod" is causing the issue ?

By itself this is true, but the problem will be somewhere else. No clue where or what though ...
I think we talked this through before, there are (or were) many users using a Juli@ (former NOS1 version), and no such thing existed.

Try moving it to another slot, or think in the direction of PCI otherwise ...

Also, you could try to determine whether there is a difference regarding this issue between KS Special Mode and Adaptive Mode. I can expect something like this happening with Special Mode, but then you should try another driver (again).

Hi Peter, hi Russ,

tried to not mix up software and hardware actions and find out: Unchecking the "decode HDCD" and I was halfway there. Increasing the digital output level does the rest - problem solved!
