When i look to the properties of RAMDISK i see FAT32

I think with this you imply you didn't do it yourself. So maybe there's a difference in that ?
I'm not even sure how to do this, once alll the DataRam settings are in there. So, at first for me too it went automatically, but now it won't go without that anymore. I mean, when I shut it off, I (now) always have to explicitly initialize and format it. Just because I did that once (??). To mimic this, you should remove the volume, up to re-initializing it. Next make the volume again, and format it (FAT32).

But don't ask me whether is helps / this is the culprit somewhere.

I did the installation of RAMSDISK by myself. The reason that i use the properties is that the RAMDISK configuartion utility, did not tell me how RAMDISK is configurated. Perhaps i need to stop ramdisk to get this information. But Peter it is sunday i like to listen to music. I have the feeling that i'm rebooting the system the complete day (frustrations!!). I'm afraid when changing things in RAMDISK it wil cost me the rest of the day to get it working again.

Do you use the same RAMDISK program?

Yes, the same program.

And no, you shouldn't be rebooting the whole day. This was my idea for myself too.
But for now we at least have some clue. That's why I said "Thank you" ... not to enforce those necessary reboots.
But indeed it can be a pain to get the thing properly running again (always needing that second or even third boot to "apply" those settings).
