Peter,
Congratulations! Until now there are no gaps between my tracks where they should not be, you nailed it!
As for the sound....much better without the gaps (hehe) but somehow my brain is telling me now that I have less "plastic" in the sound too.
Could be just my brain fooling me though..

Hi Bert, If you weren't placebo'd by this : If I was to decide, this version (per explicit means) is a tad more accurate; please let know if you disagree. ... you could be right. I did not listen with much attention to this version myself (will do that tonight), but from theory it should be more accurate.  |

Must be...or not!  BTW, thanks for the new player remembering how the previous one was configured (looks and presets)! I was almost unsure if I did use the new version..... Couldn't be as the previous one didn't want to play LISA or Andreas without gaps.  Bert |

My Goodness Just installed the 0.9 H agent yesterday. What have you made Peter?  Here it sounds like it's a completely different player.....So much more analog. So much better defined sound stage. So much more fidelity. Don't have a clue of what happened? Now my settings is #3, no double, no up-sampling, FireFace set at 48 samples. Thanks for the other gadgets... Gerner, You must have got used to 96dB of motorcicle noise ... But okay, I can't be sure whether you made up the 44K1/NoDoubling yourself, or you got smoke messages from outerspace, but yes, that is my setting as well since this version. So far I can't find anything disturbing in three days of playing, so I guess it is better than before ...  Btw, these last days I was explicitly looking for "digital" sound in all types of music, because just before this version it occurred to me I could hear "digital" again. Actually this occurred to me since the more refined CrazyA amplifiers. I just had to do something ... haha |
