firewire versus hiface 2mtech

with the  firewire  can I at most 4 numbers play in the special mode, after that my dac  will give digital distortion and that with 29 processes  between 13 en 23 % power from the processor and 3072mb buffer in both laptop en dac (less is not possible )

I play with a laptop duo core 6600, win 7 32bit slimmed , firewire ex tern card (intern texas instuments)   the weiss dac 2 and a custom made firewire cable

with the hiface 2mtech I can play anything on the special mode , also with 29 processes  3 en 6 %  power of the processor, 128 mb buffer in both
and with the aqvox usb cable (is better than the furutech 2)

I prefer the sound special mode above the adaptive mode spacial,  separation  so my choice  for now is the hiface

I'm now busy with special usb cables, from audioenergie  usb  glass cable for more galvanize separation. and 2 mtech evo ( coming next week)

Firewire drivers are a load of BS (IMnotsoHO). But RME's are rather ok.

But what do you mean "with Firewire I can play 4 tracks only" ?

PS: When your PC is fast enough, the DAC2 will allow a 512 sample buffer size.

About the hiface:

When you want a big improvement you should take a 5Volt battery and cut the +5 volt from your hiface USB port of the computer (the red wire) and connect it to the battery and - to the ground of the device.
Take a good quality battery which is rechargable. I took a 5Volt battery you can also use together with TOM-TOM or I-phone (€35,00)
