Just over a week ago I was told by someone that XXHighEnd *does* normally install on Windows 10, instead of nothing happening, you killing it, re-attempt and run into some colouring- and screen setting problems.
All it takes is wait for 7 minutes (I timed it) this very first time it is fired up - after installing Dot-Net 3.5 (
Windows 8 Tutorials - Install .Net 3.5).
And this is what I now estimate :
The extraction of Dot-Net 3.5 from the install media (see link) is one thing; actually installing it could be another (for W10) and that only happens when it is first needed ?
Anyway, something just takes an enormous amount of time this first time of starting up XXHighEnd and it is a matter of waiting it out ...
When it is there it says "XXData Folder created".
7 minutes (maybe depending on the speed of your PC - mine running at 500MHz (that's no typo) at this moment).
