XXHighEnd Model 0.9y-5-03 (another few KS adjustments)

Please note : Although the base version for this, 0.9y-5-00, is beta-beta for Kernel Streaming, the original Engine#3 is not "beta beta" at all, and it is believed it sounds better than 0.9y-4.


The below is for Kernel Streaming (Engine#4) only :

Nothing has been done about sound devices not working, like generally USB. This will be addressed (if all is right) in the next version.

Attended Playback is still no good, to the sense of playback often stopping at the end of a track. Unattended is ok.

It was found that static could occur in rare cases. Besides that this by itself has been solved, additional protection has been built in to protect against this (resulting in an error message when this is about to happen, while at that moment the sound engine will quit).

A protection has been built in when an attempt is made to play with DACs needing 24 bits (only) (the DAC Needs setting). This is not supported yet, and although these devices won't produce sound anyway (as it seems) they would produce static when sound would actually be produced. So, not allowed at this moment for Engine#4.

The OSD Running Time now switches to 00:00 at actual track changes (before this could be earlier or later).
At the end of a last track played, anomalies with the OSD Time may still be visible (like a reset to 00:00 followed by showing another few seconds).

The earlier mentioned (0.9y-5-02) gaps which could occur after a somewhat longer playing album (playlist) have been solved.

Playback is now allowed to start at a random time position (denoted by the time slider from XXHighEnd). Pause followed by Play (Unattended) still does not work.
