Any chance we could get a Control/Alt/E command? With the RDC connection and Persist turned off, in unattended its a bit of a wait when one hits the pause command (Alt/E) before the music actually pauses. Then you have remember to Alt /X to bring up the GUI in order, say, to change a setting. Would be a bit more convenient if it were all one command like Control/Alt/X. I have found that errors occur if one hits the pause command and then the Alt/X command before the music has actually paused. Hope that makes sense and is doable?

Looks like a good idea ...

Thinking further, possibly this is not so easy to implement. It would be, if currently Alt-E following by Alt-X would show the actual cursor position of where the track was at hitting Alt-E. But I don't think it does that ...

I suppose your question arose because of this topic / post : Re: How to compare XXhighend Settings. That assumed, your sequence can be Alt-X, Press Pause, change setting, press Play.
At least that is how I do it.

Even more conveniently would be : Alt-X, change setting(s), press Pause, tap on the time bar at the bottom if you like to proceed a bit further because changing the setting(s) took you 30 seconds and you don't want to repeat all of those 30 seconds, press Play.

The way I do it (first option above) gives you a quite randomized A-B situation because you will be repeating these last 30 seconds.
Either of these options give the least down time (no-music-time) because music commences when you are changing the settings.

Thanks Peter. Will give your method a try, but it does seem the most convenient to pause and return GUI in one command. Certainly not worth the effort though if too time consuming to implement.
