Peter,
After installing W8 a restore point with minimize could be made. But i have gone back to original state.
I like to go back to minimise mode now and a restore point could not be made because of this.

(Ik weet het lijkt op minimize mode maar dat is het niet. Het rode streepje onstaat meteen als ik op minimize druk.) Als ik op minimize druk dan vraagt hij of ik een restore point wil maken. Ik druk op ja en dan wil hij geen restore point maken omdat Virtual disk service is not running??? De allereerste keer (dus after install W8) deed hij het wel. Dus Virtiual disk mode is na unminimize niet weer aangezet? sorry beetje moe....  |

Sorry to intrude... I used Google translation to understand Gerard, is it possible that you are changing from Minimize OS to Normal OS with the copy that is in ramdisk ? Hi Juan. Well there are subtle differences, some details seem clearer, but it also tells me that my preamp is (was) quite transparent. I don't find this as easy as with a volume at hand, but it certainly follows the suggestion that less is better I have also tested with a reboot, without shutting the power amp: only a tick so it looks as if I was worried for no reason... Gerard,
To me it looks like you possibly did not finish the boot into MinOS properly. So, it has gone "half-way". Then I think you can get this situation.
Just boot into MinOS (forget the Restore Point which you already have anyway), and when done boot back into Normal OS (for testing this, otherwise never mind). Done ? then again goto MinOS and try to make the Restore Point first. I think that will work now, and if not somewhere in the process messages should have appeared ...
