Since a couple of weeks I’m having the same problem of only one album of an artist popping up if I search for all albums.

I tried copying the link from Tidal website on to the search artist in XXHE but this turns up blank.

I wonder what’s going on.

I tried Nick’s suggestion but with 10 Mb  or even 100Mb speed the RDC connection between the Audio PC & Music server doesn’t get established.

Theoretically yes but not really practical.

Put in the ET^3 in the set up & the immediate reaction is significant reduction in the noise level as compared to stock Ethernet cable.

I would rate this as high as the Lush^3 upgrade.

Recd the Blaxius^2.5 this morning. It seriously reduces the smear. Only with it, does one realise how much smear we have been hearing all this while.

Hi Peter,

Tried to stream some music from Tidal through XXHE  & I am getting a msg saying “Tidal could not be initialised (trial connection to Google failed)”.

I deleted the Tidal sessions file, closed & restarted XXHE but it still keeps coming. The music server is connected to the internet.

Valid question, however when I/we moved over to the Lush^2, we were all of the opinion that nothing could outperform it. Then came the Lush^3 & the Lush^2 is forgotten. Something to ponder....

Hi Peter,

A number of my audiophile friends in India & abroad are switching over to Optical fibre cables in place of Ethernet or USB for “better” SQ. Most of them are raving about the improvement. In many cases it implies change in hardware where as in some cases it’s modification to the existing hardware.

Is there really any truth in this or is it just a gimmick?

My set up is as follows:
The audio pc, music server & NAS (music files) are all 3 connected by Ethernet cable to a Gigabit switch.

Which Ethernet cable would be most beneficial to convert to ET^3 or ET^2 cable to enhance SQ.

Hi Peter,

No words can describe the Lush^3. It’s simply fantastic. Others have very aptly tabled their observations, I can only add to it that the decay, of every musical note, is just a little longer, giving an experience of live performance.

An addition of a shield can create such a wonder, is just mind boggling.

Hi Ramesh,

As Peter pointed out 5v is needed for the phisolator, hence isolating in the Lush is out of question.

I’ve never had an issue of FIFO/USB stream errors, hence no need to isolate the short USB cable either.
