Title: Music stops 0.9y-4 Post by: Gerard on October 20, 2009, 11:57:51 am Peter,
For a few day's now i nodiced that sometime's the music stops playing. This happends when a songs has ended and the next in line does not start. Today i tried to provoke it. And here are the log file's. Since it need a bit of searching in the log files to get the right one maybe it is an idear to make a delete button in XX so that automaticly the map that contains the logfile's is deleted and you can do a fresh start. Today i did it manualy... Wich ofcourse by itself is not a very big problem but still... Have a nice day.... :) Grtz Gerard Title: Re: Music stops 0.9y-4 Post by: Gerard on October 20, 2009, 03:27:51 pm Peter,
The reason for all the different cd's in the playlist is that i have the idear (but i am not 100% sure) that the stop only happends when going to a new cd. There for all the different tracks are from different cd's. :) Title: Re: Music stops 0.9y-4 Post by: PeterSt on October 20, 2009, 03:31:54 pm Hi Gerard,
About the Delete button ... yea, good idea. But of course you know that when you keep that TemporaryData folder sorted on Date the current ones are always on top, right ? I have been looking at the log files, and I think I see what the problem is. And it looks like you "did" that ... :) It looks like or during the playback of Smoking Gun, or during Folkvord Lomansson you clicked the last track, or possibly you added that at that moment. Actually, wasn't it you who told to do these kind of things ? (maybe it was someone else). So I guess it wasn't made for that. I can see if I can solve it though. No guarantees. :nea: But first tell me whether I can be right on this. (and I saw your just added post) Peter :15a: Title: Re: Music stops 0.9y-4 Post by: Gerard on October 20, 2009, 03:50:08 pm Quote About the Delete button ... yea, good idea. The reason for the delete function is that a few people can use it when they are bug searching and dont need the rest of the log. But as you said sorting by date is a good one. Does it than also sort by time when there are more from that day? Quote I have been looking at the log files, and I think I see what the problem is. More often than the remote thing error when i change the volume. This is with y-4. Title: Re: Music stops 0.9y-4 Post by: PeterSt on October 20, 2009, 05:26:47 pm Hi Telstar,
You get this quite often, but do you do the same as Gerard just told ? (not that it is wrong to do or want, but from your description I read some other problem, perhaps). But my playlists are sometimes a single cd, not from different ones as Gerard. I have to say that I didnt pay much attention if I have more than one cd in playlist. |
