xx window flickers as usual, but bar at bottom does not move have tried with and without hotkeys installed first time I tried it worked, but never after? back to 4 and all is well best Leif Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: PeterSt on March 26, 2009, 11:26:35 am Leif, please do this :
In your 0.9x-5b folder, there will be a Librarydata.txt file. Throw it out. There will be a Favorites.txt. Throw it out. A !Played.plxx. Same. A !CurrentlyPlaying.plxx. Ditto. Remark : I am not sure right now whether all these files are just visible, and they may show only when you have set hidden files to show. Now, I don't want you to get into too much trouble, so you could just leave it to this, or throw out the files you indeed can see. I may even be forgetting one or two ... The next version will contain some kind of emergency thing that does it for you. So you might wait for that if you want. :sorry: Peter Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: leifchristensen on March 26, 2009, 11:28:05 am IŽll give it a try 2nite to honour your effort to help! :)

best Leif Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: PeterSt on March 26, 2009, 01:38:06 pm Great. And AUDIODIDAKT, thanks.
As said, I will build in an emergency procedure for things like this (never had it myself though, but I know from other users it can occasionally). Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: leifchristensen on March 26, 2009, 09:27:29 pm sry doesnŽt change anything and when trying to play the currently plxx is replaced by a new one
bar doesnŽt move though best Leif Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: PeterSt on March 26, 2009, 10:21:33 pm Sorry Leif. I don't think I can get what you mean. But I will make that emergency procedure. Ok ?
Edit : Yes, the !CurrentlyPlaying.plxx is always replaced by the, well, currently playin Playlist. The question for the removal of it was just becasue it may cause anomalies by itself. After removing it, and that doesn't help, it's not the problem. Quote bar doesnŽt move though I merely suspect that you are dealing with the problem here : Re: Spdif digital out only??? (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=775.msg5723#msg5723). My advice : wait for the next version (although the solution most probably is in the post I just referred to). Thank you for your patience. Peter Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: leifchristensen on March 27, 2009, 06:57:36 am U2
patience is normally not my specialty :) 2nite is Theessink so nothing will happen will the stereo have a nice day; I most certainly intend to. ;) best Leif Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: PeterSt on March 27, 2009, 07:59:25 am I think it will be good !
Don't forget to rip their new album from them (not released yet). I guess they'll have a bag of 'm somewhere hidden back stage. :) Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: leifchristensen on March 27, 2009, 09:11:31 am If I get it I can send a filemail to you :)

Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: mikelm on March 30, 2009, 05:30:18 pm Hi Peter - just to say I am getting this problem occasionally also - sometimes after 1/2 hour of use, for no apparent reason, the screen starts to flash on & off, I loose that task bar and just after that I invoke a window inviting me to check for sony / vista upgrades !
As yet I still am not sure the benefit this hotkey thing gives - is that covered here somewhere ? From my side I would prefer it if XXHE did not interact with the display at all and would be happy to be able to disable this function - is that possible ? at least until it's stable - just the XXHE window is fine for me. cheers mike Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: Calibrator on March 30, 2009, 06:09:49 pm From my side I would prefer it if XXHE did not interact with the display at all and would be happy to be able to disable this function - is that possible ? at least until it's stable - just the XXHE window is fine for me. G'day Mike, If you take the tick OFF the boxes for OSD & Unload Services in the settings menu, and make sure you don't load the AutoKey application, you should have an environment as you desire. Give that a try. Cheers, and welcome aboard the geek train :) Russ Title: Re: Big problem 0.9x-5 Post by: mikelm on March 30, 2009, 07:26:56 pm Thx Russ,
Just now the only box I have ticked is tool tips - I'll let you know what happens - but I have the feeling there's more to it than that cheers mike |
