Title: Error message in versions 2 and 3 Post by: glynnw on November 16, 2008, 08:12:30 pm I get an onscreen message when I go back to the computer and hit enter to get it going (notice how I use all the correct technical terms) after it has sat with blank screen for a while . I just have to click on it to make it go away, but it becomes a PITA. This started when I downloaded last 2 versions - 2 & 3.
Message says: =03=System.ComponentMoel.Win32Exception:The operation was canceled by the user at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfostartinfo) at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start0 at ChangeWP.Module1.HideIcons2(String&Action) Title: Re: Error message in versions 2 and 3 Post by: PeterSt on November 16, 2008, 08:24:25 pm At which version this wasn't happening ? (0.9-w1 ? earlier ? -> just your experience, you don't need to explicitly try)
And can it be related to A few questions about Vista behaviour to you (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=630.0) ? otherwise it seems quite some coincidence ... :scratching: Title: Re: Error message in versions 2 and 3 Post by: glynnw on November 16, 2008, 09:27:59 pm Yea, I don't recall getting this prior to version 2. It doesn't happen all the time. Today I deleted all the versions and re-installed 0.9v-7 (simply to listen to the sound of the older version) and have not yet got this message, but then, it's only been a couple of hours. If it occurs with this older version, I will let you know. I also took advantage of my 90 day Vista warranty and have submitted this to Microsoft - I'll let you know what they say. Could changing the size of my wall paper to 800 have anything to do with it - this is a recent change I made.
FYI - last night listening to 0.9v-7, I felt my system sounded better than it ever has. |
