After enjoying XXHighEnd a while on my lapttop with Vista, I tried to install it on a PC with windows XP. So I first installed windows (it only had linux) and downloaded xxHighEnd. As soon as I try to open the program windows shows: 'kan de toepassing niet initialiseren (0x0000135) klik OK om te toepassing te beeindigen'. I did already part of that but clearly not enough. After struggeling an evening with service pack 2 and the links you posted, XXHighEnd works under windows XP (on a machine with only about 0,6 Gb RAM). I had no time to listen long but from what I heard (with engine 2 and double) it seems better than under Vista on my MacBook. After good listening I'll let you know some more in another topic.
