Title: Tidal search not finding albums Post by: coliny on February 19, 2021, 05:31:15 pm There are quite a few albums on Tidal which I can't find with the XXHE search despite careful typing and trying various ways of including the * symbol.

I have found that the best way to find albums in XXHE is to use Tidal to find the album, then copy the link, and paste it in the album search field in XXHE. Indeed it does not now. Maybe it is for this Artist only ? I have always found the copy link procedure to work better to search for Tidal albums especially for classical music. With classical music there is no clear definition of who the artist or album is with composers, conductors, performers, etc. being organized in somewhat random fashion. Since a couple of weeks I’m having the same problem of only one album of an artist popping up if I search for all albums. I tried copying the link from Tidal website on to the search artist in XXHE but this turns up blank. I wonder what’s going on. Oh yes. Earlier you could get all albums of an artist. Now you invariably get one album(not necessarily the one you are looking for). Yes, that should be fairly easy. But the point at this moment is that I already started working on the 16/44.1 MQA issues. So if I undo those changes (where I ran a kind of stuck in) then it should be easy. So maybe I should do that ... Best regards, Peter |
