Title: Stop W10 services Post by: dsm on April 02, 2020, 08:46:17 pm Hi Peter,
If I check stop W10 services, all works as it did before when coming out of an unattended playback session with the desktop/taskbar eventually displayed. If I uncheck W10, and come out of an unattended playback, XXHE starts but the start button and the desktop are empty. I can continue to load another album and enter unattended again. If I hit the stop button when XXHE is back from unattended, all the desktop and taskbar options reappear. I quite like that this happens (with W10 unchecked) for simplicity sake and I was wondering if it was on purpose. If not, is it happening for anyone else? Just an amazing job with this one! I cannot believe that you keep finding ways to improve the sound. Best, David Title: Re: Stop W10 services Post by: PeterSt on April 03, 2020, 07:38:26 am Hmm, David, no, this is unintentional. I am not at location momentarily (but in a complete desolated working office - haha), but when back at home I can try myself (if I don't forget - though I should run into this topic again). I can imagine that it happens, surely; but I am also afraid that this can have been introduced 2 years ago and that I will never be able to track down the cause (a program change, obviously). Anyway, I suppose I use Stop W10 Services (would be the best for W10 anyway ?). Meanwhile, if it is possible to give me a screenshot of that Services section so I can mimic the behavior ... yes please. Regards, Peter |
