Title: Pause Alt-E Post by: PeterSt on April 02, 2020, 07:25:28 pm One of the key features of V2.11 is the means to stop Playback but keep all running under the hood. Alt-E in Unattended Mode does that. Try not to forget to stop Playback before you go to sleep with Alt-E (see below). Be surprised the the next day at session start, when you use Alt-P to commence playback. Be a bit careful when you use this the first couple of times; it never has gone wrong over here, but it could depend on the DAC. Also notice that underway (say after 24 hours of playing, which is what this does) something may have gone wrong and Alt-P doesn't produce sound. In that case all has been in vain (but bring up XXHighEnd from Unattended and start Playback as usual - do notice the Yellow led in the right hand border, that indicating the Paused state by this means). Remember, don't forget this tonight ... :) Peter PS: Do not switch off your DAC obviously. The PC neither. Personally I leave the amps on as well. |
