All,

Just set up a new machine to prepare Tidal streams for playback.  Everything works well--searching and preparing.  Except that after preparing the Streams, the "Move to Streams Data Folder" does not work reliably.  Sometimes the files are moved from the "Temp" folder to the "Streams" folder, and sometimes nothing happens.

This is not a huge problem as I can move the files with Explorer.  Wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

Hi Ramesh, no you can not. It may seem so to you, but later all sorts of things will go wrong.

I have no idea why things "some times" would work and I would definitely blame the machine (with again no clue how it could happen).

Maybe you refer differently to the "Tidal Stream Folder" (in XXHE settings) ?
Like at first it was a Drive Letter, while now it is a reference like \\[PC-Name]\[ShareName] ?

The "Tidal" drive is a USB drive attached to the machine that has XXHE on it, so I refer to it just by the drive name (D:\XXTemp, and D:\XXStream). I could try to reinstall XXHE on the new machine, but I suppose I would need to activate again if I did that.

As with so many perceived problems, this one can be attributed to USER ERROR!  It turns out that my mouse was accidentally de-selecting the album I wanted to move from "Temp" to "Streams". Once I made sure that the selection stayed highlighted, the transfer has been working reliably.
