When I rip a cd or convert a track from flat to wav. And when I open the file in xxl I inevitably get ._ 01 ....  how can I avoid this. I have attached a screen shot.
I’am using dB power amp and my comp is Mac Pro.

Are you using the default naming convention with dBpoweramp.  Have you tried changing the naming convention in dBpoweramp?

You don't need to convert FLAC to WAV.
XXHE will play FLAC, converting it automatically when you press PLAY.

I think these files are files the Mac produces and become visible on a Windows machine.

These files are not from dBPoweramp.

You can just delete them on the AudioPC.

Correct. But you *have* to delete them, or else all kind of things go wrong.

  which audio PC the mac or Peter's comp. It is visible only when I open the tracks on the xxh screen. where do you think I should look for the files.

I have the music files on a Windows pc, we call the Musicserverpc.

On that computer you can use Explorer to see the files and delete the Mac files.

Maybe it will be necessary to enable Explorer to see Hidden Files by ticking the box for that in the View mode of Explorer.

Thank you, the problem is sorted out. This  is what I did:
1. Enabled “ read hidden files” in the options menu.
2. Opened the music folder.
3. In the search space on the rt.hand corner typed ‘ ._01’ and
    pressed search : All the ._01 files in all the music folders
     opened, which then I deleted.
This has solved the problem.
