Title: Re: MQA: A Review of controversies, concerns, and cautions Post by: PeterSt on March 27, 2018, 06:51:08 pm OK Tore. For your (and everybody's) information, all on ComputerAudiophile is by now completely sick / ill-minded about MQA. Maybe you thought you were reading some objective information in that "article" you linked to, but it isn't. More FYI : That guy is capable of proving that you, me and everybody else in here are fools because he will prove by measurement that we can't differentiate between two situations he applies measurements to, but where he can't find a difference in because he already does not know what to measure or look for. He thinks he knows though and he expresses so. So because he can not measure a difference between your SFS=1 and SFS = 10, you are deaf. Do you hear ? (he never did this exactly but there are numerous other examples which wouldn't make a single sense to you or me). I read 10% of it to see what what nonsense it is about this time. Please keep in mind that this is not really related to my own point of view on MQA. I may not even have one. :) Best regards, Peter Title: Re: MQA: A Review of controversies, concerns, and cautions Post by: coliny on May 02, 2021, 05:19:19 pm More analysis/review of MQA:-

FYI: About half of what this guy presents makes no sense. This is OK because the other half sufficiently does. :wacko2: If you ask me, the guy presenting this came late to the show, and seriously does not understand basic concepts. He testified of this elsewhere but made this (extensive) YouTube anyway. For net result, all coming from Tidal is down the drain now anyway, due to the conversion to fake MQA of all the albums there. Mind the "fake" because that exists too. Meanwhile it is hard to show the difference in advance (this guys seems not to know about it anyway), like for me / XXHighEnd the difference is hard to build in just the same (never mind I know about it). Peter PS: I have seen this 14 or so days ago. Also, this is in text available and what is in the video is literally read from that text. That text also links to the response in writing of MQA Ltd. I think you can find thathere (https://pastebin.com/2YfT6vfZ). It is quite hilarious to read (their defense) and as usual it is able to create the same "mist" as always, leaving you behind with your own choice as always. What is a pity is that still and indeed the YouTube is for 50% correct only. I will leave you in the same middle with it (same that you never read from me on what side I actually am - haha). |
