Title: Losing LAN connection after playing album in unattended mode Post by: briefremarks on August 29, 2016, 08:39:06 am This has probably been answered somewhere. I've searched and not found something that answers a specific problem I've noticed playing an album in unattended mode.
At the end of the album, I get a message box saying "Waiting for LAN.." After a short while I get a message saying "Continue to wait for LAN.." I select "No" since selecting yes does not result in connection. I then lose the ability to see the network drive that maps the folder with music on the music server. These messages are on the Stealth PC booted with RAM-OS in memory and minimized. I run RDC on the music server to connect to the Stealth PC. I can still ping the music server from the Stealth, but cannot load any new music. I have recovered from this usually by some combination of shutting down rebooting, and remapping the music folder to a network drive. I just started to play music in unattended mode with XXHE 2.06a and the Stealth RAM-OS. What's checked for to exist is the folder which is denoted in Music Root in Settings. Mind you, this is expected to be on the LAN somewhere (reachable when the LAN is achtive). Additionally all is related to the LAN being switched off in the first place. Thus, when the combination (in Settings, Services and OSD section) "Keep LAN Services" + Persistent = On is in order, the LAN won't be shut down anyway. This is not really the intention for solution of course, so just saying.
