No problem here. Really not. But what can happen is that you somehow do not respect the current status of selections.
This message sure can occur, and if it happens to me, I did something wrong myself.
N.b.: "Mostly" is not computer like. It happens always the same, if you have the situation always the same (and this is difficult to see through, I'll admit).

So if you can tell me what to exactly do to let this happen, I can look into it. Best is to start each attempt by first quitting XXHighEnd and then restart it. Then I will know for sure the base is clean.
Meanwhile tell me whether you have "Use Touch Facilities" active (Settings, Services and OSD section) because that really matters to this regard. So notice that With Touch Facilities you do not need to use Ctrl to select a next Item (and that without Touch Facilies and not using Ctrl a previously selected Item gets unselected).

Going back to 2.05 everything works normal with my settings again.

using W10 - 10586.0 on the HDD "nonloading" of music files straight from the beginning. One core is working for a very short time, and then "nada".

Please see the two pics attached, nothing unusual, see the profile too.

yes,the pictures are from ......... and the settings are the same in 2.06.
I copied the upgrade files into the 2.xx folder just right again and 2.06 in red letters appears and 28 cores are showing. Same result ""& engine3 do not start""

Joachim, you are making a mess of it when presenting all like this. Maybe we can also wonder why your first screenshot in this topic is MINE.


That is very good, because nothing even changed regarding this since 2.05. Thank you for testing this. Hahaha.

What remains is the question why you suddenly *now* come up with it.

I see no issue unless you clearly explain what you are doing hence when it goes wrong.
Btw, do we see any other reports about this since 2.05 (4 months or more out by now) ?

Maybe you are (suddenly) using a strange kind of display device ?
Maybe you set something in your PC like clicking once = select to load (or however that is called - but it exists).
Maybe you set a setting that you see checkboxes to all Explorer items (in the OS I mean, not per se in XXHighEnd) ?

I use the same settings since "light years" and they work with 2.04 & 2.05 (since receiving the new PC + RAM OS)
2.05 is running without any problems, even now.

Looking into the "upgrade patch container" there are 3 new files, and except 1 file the others have been modified acc. to the date and file size.

I repeat again, I CHANGED NOTHING except copying the upgrade files.

I can live with 2.05 and thats fine by me.

even that is wrong or not true or whatever.
Unless you installed it in 10565 TRIAL which is not right in any event.
Or if you don't have Copy Settings to X:\... which in that case also is not right.

It looks like you are fooling around with me.
