Post by: Tore on November 22, 2015, 07:06:57 pm
Now I can load music from Tidal, but still no sound from it.

When I press Play I get this message

Tore,

It looks like yoy maybe never Prepared the Stream *and* that I f*cked up myself in checking someting.
Disregarding the latter, can this be the case ? (in the Library Area your album looks green then).

If you think you did all fine, does this happen with a second album as well ? to be more safe on this, try another Artist.

Try to explicitly respond to all I say and not only to one item.

Peter

In very brief :

Indeed it was so that the Prepare Streams function wasn't performed by Tore.
But without checking, this is challenged for somewhat, because at first I made it so that it would do that on the fly when it hadn't been performed, while after that I changed many things and probably that now does not work any more (is inconvenient as well). So about my mentioned "forgotten check" : XXHighEnd should check whether the Streams of the Album havd been prepared and if not give a message about that.
What currently happens is that it starts to play the (still only) meta data, and that finally brings the (justified) "Wrong header data" message; It is not music yet.

So if the Album has green borders, its Track Meta Data is there and it can be loaded in the Playlist Area (just to see the tracks). But it can not be played yet ...
First the Prepare Stream has to be performed on it and when after that the borders are Red, the Album can play.
