Title: OS-X 10.11 'El Capitain' NOS1a Driver? Post by: CoenP on October 05, 2015, 09:33:36 am Hi Peter,
After the OS-X update last week I tried to play some tunes through the Mac, but no sound. After selecting and loading a track, no player in my Mac "suite" starts actually playing through the NOS1a, they just freeze at the start. This looks like a driver compatibility issue. I'm running v1.08a on the MAC. Is there a new version in the making or is anybody else experiencing this issue? regards, Coen Title: Re: OS-X 10.11 'El Capitain' NOS1a Driver? Post by: PeterSt on October 05, 2015, 09:56:04 am Hi Coen,
1.08a ?? Never heard of such a version anywhere. 2.7.0 is the one you should have. At least as mentioned in the (.rar) file name in the download. I didn't hear of problems and I am not aware of anything not working. Take care that Switch#5 is up ... Regards, Peter Title: Re: OS-X 10.11 'El Capitain' NOS1a Driver? At least as mentioned in the (.rar) file name in the download. Hmm, I typo'd and mixed the version codes on my side, not useful for communication. Anyway in the phasure control panel driver version is displayed as 2.08.00. Phasure control panel version is 2.03.58. In the mail (from Januari this year) the driver I downloaded is referred to as 2.8.a. And yes I flipped the switch (and back again)!. regards, Coen Title: Re: OS-X 10.11 'El Capitain' NOS1a Driver? Well, of course still a problem because I know of nothing ... :sorry: Peter Title: Re: OS-X 10.11 'El Capitain' NOS1a Driver? Post by: PeterC on October 06, 2015, 01:59:51 pm Peter, naturally I am keen for updated driver if indeed one is required. I have not tested the new OSX on my main system but when I get time, I can test my other computer with the Phasure to see if I replicate the problem with the new system. Regards, Peter C

Please, it is the other way around. I don't have a new driver. So if you're keen on installing a newer OS, then it looks like you are seeking for troubles. That is, if Coen is right. It is VERY helpful if you upgrade and can test it, but it is a PAIN when you can't go back. So guarantee yourself that you can or otherwise you will be out of music. Maybe we recall : Windoze maybe by super sh*t at stages, but Apple is worse. I just can-not-upgrade beyond what I have at the moment or otherwise I need harware upgrades or whatever stuff I refuse to follow and/or buy. Regards to you and the family ! Peter |
