Not sure how long this will last :dntknw: Bert Title: Re: W10 Blue screen... Post by: Gerard on June 18, 2015, 12:28:44 pm ...logging in (min OS). Must be connected to the internet though. Gr Title: Re: W10 Blue screen... Post by: PeterSt on June 18, 2015, 12:29:33 pm Well, I told about this ...
Maybe it lasts forever, I don't know. Anyway the product key doesn't work anyway, might you be able to fill it in somewhere. Peter PS: And if all stops working ... just (fresh) reinstall W10. Title: Re: W10 Blue screen... Post by: phantomax on June 18, 2015, 12:49:01 pm I think the problem is only in minimized OS. The activación in normal OS works well but when you go into min OS and go to control panel/system it shows not activated again.
For activación in normal OS run cmd as administrador and type: slui 3 Then pops up a blue screen asking for the key. Type the generic key suggested somewhere in the forum and you are done. All is working fine so I am not looking for anomalies possible screwing things up again... hahaha I'll wait and when all stops working then it is soon enough to take action (or install - image copy - again) or reset the date one month back.. Quote For activación in normal OS run cmd as administrador and type: slui 3 Then pops up a blue screen asking for the key. Type the generic key suggested somewhere in the forum and you are done. And exactly that does not work over here. "Key can not be used" or something. Quote The activación in normal OS works well but when you go into min OS and go to control panel/system it shows not activated again. This has always been so. But such a screen popping up not that I recall (and Bert is not suggesting that either - maybe you do ?) ... unless ... uness I far away recall this from W8.1 to be the case also (or "already"). Only visible when logging in through RDC (the only way I do log in). Bert Title: Re: W10 Blue screen... Post by: phantomax on June 18, 2015, 04:10:53 pm And exactly that does not work over here. "Key can not be used" or something. Peter, Not in my case. I didn't get such message in normal OS. It seems to activate properly. :dntknw: But in min OS the blue screen pops up from time to time. Anyway I have other issues with shutdown and reboot in my 3 boots system so I'll comment in another topic. Maxi Title: Re: W10 Blue screen... Post by: Scroobius on June 19, 2015, 07:49:35 am I have exactly the same problem as Bert but it only happens in minimised it does not happen in fullOS. It does not seem to cause a problem (it just clicks away).
Title: Re: W10 Blue screen... Post by: PeterSt on June 19, 2015, 08:23:37 am Not important and only good to understand :
Quote It does not seem to cause a problem (it just clicks away). What happens is that the PC Settings screen (metro app) that needs to deal with this, does not run (and can not even run in MinOS). And then for additional unclariry (haha) : I have the same screen and situation in Normal OS. But in my case because I'm really not activated (can't even enter the Key with success) and the apps don't run in Normal OS either (because of the set UAC level) - so same story. :offtopic: Btw, I think that by now I can recognize that all breaks when we once got into MinOS. So with a second install I watched very carefully at each step for (for example) the Start Button to keep working, and nothing stopped that from doing so. Only when I had been in MinOS - and back right away - all is broken and stays that. Rightclick on the Start Button seems to work randomly (but only per boot session it can change, I'd say). Peter |
