XXHighEnd

Watch out : What we will be talking about in this Tutorial is about normal RDC/RDP on the normal Windows Operating System. This is quite confusing - or at least can be - because this is for example what runs for (W 8.1) OS on the Windows Surface Tablet. This is NOT the same as Windows (W8.1) which runs on a Smart Phone, generally addressed as "Windows Phone" (WP). For this latter there's RDP from the Windows Store, while for the former you most probably will use the available RDC (RDP) normal Windows Remote Access functionality.
Maybe it is not even clear whether the RDP app as it is available anno 2015 for Windows Phone, IOS, OSX and Android, is available for normal Windows (like for the Surface) ...

So here we go, and it is all about setting the best resolution and aspect ratio and not loosing areas on top/bottom or left/right of the screen.

For the Tablet

Open the .RDP file with Notepad :

Thus, RightClick on the .RDP Desktop icon which is assumed to be there already (see Set up an RDC/RDP Connection for Ethernet LAN (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=3213.0)), choose "Open with" and Select Notepad. Here is what you might see with the notice that the further instructions (see below) have been applied in there already) :

Add this line at the bottom (as said, already done in what you see above) :
smart sizing:i:1

Examine your Tablet's resolution; cause the DesktopWidth and DesktopHeight to resemble that (lines for that recide more towards the top of the .RDP file).

When you are editing the .RDP file by this means anyway, look for the line
displayconnectionbarL:i:1 (or 0).
When it shows i:1 make that i:0

Save the file (just use Save from the File menu in the top of Notepad) :

Set the Taskbar on the Tablet (when Windows) to Auto Hide :

And tick "Auto hide the taskbar" :

Notice that hiding the Taskbar is about gaining space while you will not be using the Taskbar for any reason during Audio Playback and selection of music.


For the Intermediate PC

Notice this is the PC you might be using in the chain, like :
Tablet -> Intermediate PC -> Audio PC.
In the other Turorials we mostly referred to this PC as the Music Server (while it is not necessarily that at all).

On that Intermediate PC again open the .RDP file in Notepad.
There too add the line
smart sizing:i:1
There too, make the DesktopWidth and DesktopHeight equal to what you entered in the Tablet's RDP file. This most problably will not be the case by default.
Watch out : If you don't use the RDC/RDP for "normal Windows" (see text more above) then you never entered anything in a "Tablet's RDP file". All what it is about, though, is the size of that Remote and it should now be entered in the RDP file of our Intermediate PC.

Set the Taskbar to Auto Hide.

General

When the RDC connection is made on the Intermediate PC, maximise the screen. Notice that this will not cover the full screen of the monitor now. This is OK.
Watch out : Maximising may look/go awkward as you ALWAYS must use the button for it :

... as using it "not" because it looks maximised already (like you see above !) is not the situation you want, *because* the Title bar is still visible ! (consumes unnecessary space). So now you must first "Restore" it to a smaller size (which will look all over wrong for Aspect Ratio) and next maximise it again, and now the Title Bar will disappear and instead the (blue) "Connection Bar" will briefly show to next disappear and never come back again (which is exactly what you want).

When the RDC connection is made on the Tablet, here too maximise the screen but with this notice :
In practice it will be so that you never maximise the screen on the Intermediate PC because you will forget and won't see a diference there anyway. So what happens in practice is that on the Tablet you will see TWO RDC/RDP sessions, because well, you have two running (one from Tablet to Intermediate and one from Intermediate to Audio PC). Now both must be maximised as described. Start with the outer one.

For result On the Tablet you will now see all in "full screen" and no scrollbars will be anywhere. There will not even be any borders visible of the remote desktop :

If you now use the [ B ] button in the right hand border of XXHighEnd, there will be no screen-consuming borders anywhere.
(again use that [ B ] button and the borders of XXHighEnd wel re-appear)

In sequence what happened (Border of XXHighEnd is Off):

... all with the notice that the empty space at the right side is on purpose to the XXOSK (On Screen Keyboard) is reachable when XXHighEnd is up (like it is here).
But this is not really necessary.

Issue (or how to call it really) : What works for the normal RDC/RDP situation like for the Windows Surface Tablet regarding the full screen and no borders anywhere etc., does not work for the RDP app as it exists for Windows Phone, OSX, IOS and Android. For those one title bar will always remain :
