Title: "XXHighEnd PC" & 4T Disc Incompatibility Post by: Scroobius on April 01, 2014, 12:33:36 pm I ordered a 4T Seagate internal HDD for my XXHighEnd PC "clone". This is just a note to say that the 4T disc does not fit in the removable slots at the front of the Silverstone GD06 case. It will slide in and connect into the sockets at the back OK (so it will work) but the door covers do not close. This is because the disc is about 2mm longer than all the other HDD's that I have tried and that fit no problem.

This disks are incompatible ! Investigate 2TB 2.5" for fun and then you will understand (only one brand existED that had them in the proper size). If you say that your PC is not compatible with the disk then you can just as well claim that all PC's with removable bays are not compliant (yes, I used another word now). Word games ? These stupid disks are just not allowed to exist. Peter |
