Title: First impressions of 9s-2 Post by: Chris V on November 26, 2007, 12:04:44 am After my glowing report on 9s-1, this version allows further meaningful improvements in sound using the Scheme settings.
At present I favour scheme 3 as being that bit more 'analogue' (less digital). Using this setting (no upsample, no invert, no unattended) I have been able to push the Fireface to 96 samples from 128 samples without my normal glitches :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:. Couple of minor issues. When I push 'next' I always get track 2 At one point I got the infamous red cross in the playlist box, not sure what I pressed. Great stuff, I'm just loving the detail. Normally in Hi Fi you only get this if some frequencies are uplifted, but its everywhere. :friends: :drinks:  Title: Re: First impressions of 9s-2 Post by: Calibrator on November 26, 2007, 05:39:40 am Couple of minor issues. I found that the NEXT function works if STOP is used just prior to pressing the NEXT button though. I'd say I have tested sufficiently the Unattended Playback to kind of "know" that just works okay ... (and *that* did not work at all in the before version). Note that with Unattended Playback you should bring up XXHighEnd, click Next (if you want of course, hehe), and *not* : bring it up, wait a track or two and then click Next ... Yep attended. :good: Title: Re: First impressions of 9s-2 Post by: Calibrator on November 26, 2007, 12:45:55 pm May I assume that this is during Attended Playback ? A second 'Yep' from me too.
