hope for some support, because I ran into a strange behavior of XXHE this morning after a nice listening session yesterday. All went well yesterday, shut down the PC normally, but when starting it up this morning, I could not maneouver or scroll over in the normal XX window. Just got stuck with the status as shown in the screenshot. Would reinstall, but need to un_minimize first, but I donīt have access to this section any more... Hmm ... this is about the splitter bars having gone wild. So, they are both hidden under that [ L ] you see in the far left. Maybe with some dragging of the screen border (try left and also right) you may be able to grab either. Notice that the [ 2 ] should move more to the right than [ 1 ] (but right now you see neither). Now I think of it ... those (1,) 2, 3, 4, 5 you see in the left border are screen presets. So, clicking those will bring you some setting. Try them all to find the best and then redrag all (may also involve scaling) to set it back to your likings. Btw, once you see something usefulk again, quitting XXHighEnd will save that automatically as usual and bringit up and you can continue ... Hope this helps ! no way that I get out of this just by clicking or scrolling. I tried everything, no presets loaded, no way to scroll or grab anything else than visible in that window. Can I delete any preset file and copy it from a stick where I have made a backup of a working status (for instance the xxdata folder?) What would I have to delete manualy and re-copy? Or can I make a new install without having booted back to normal OS mode beforehand? Thanks Carsten |
