Title: Buzzing Noise at playback Post by: minzyman on July 13, 2013, 11:32:23 pm Has anyone experienced this? I have a bothersome buzzing noise that starts just before playback, is not nearly as loud as the music being played, but is nevertheless annoying.
The only thing that affects the noise is entering the NOS1 driver console and changing usb buffer size. At 16ms, the sound is the lowest in frequency (and thus not as annoying). If you change to 12ms, the buzz becomes higher pitched. Change to 8, becomes higher still, etc. I have a Startech usb3 card installed with Renasys drivers, but switching the usb cable to other usb ports does nothing to eliminate the buzzing. It was always very soft and seems to disappear when music plays. I've never heard it during very soft classical passages, so it's never really bothered me.

After I reduced the Q1Factor and Q1 value, it was gone. Maybe you could play with these two just to verify ?
