Title: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: Flecko on June 02, 2013, 03:47:20 pm I found a minor bug. If a mp3 file is played, it can happen, that the track ends suddenly and the next track starts. I used SFS 12. After increasing to SFS 120 the errer didn't occure anymore.

And with tracks from more than one album ? Thanks, Peter Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: Flecko on June 02, 2013, 04:46:51 pm I will try some more mp3.
Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: Flecko on June 02, 2013, 05:39:12 pm The prolem occures upto now only with 320 kbit mp3 but with different albums. Increasing SFS from 12 to 120 "solved" the problem again. I couldn't provoke this error with lower bitrates but I do not say that this cannot happen. For that, the test time was to short.
Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: PeterSt on June 02, 2013, 05:48:16 pm Ok, please FileMail me such an album, and tell me which track I can try.
Attended or Unattended ? Regards and thanks, Peter PS: And this never happened before ? (I know about your upsampling capabilties now). Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: Flecko on June 02, 2013, 07:27:51 pm I send you two files. It is the second track I have in the playlist when the skipping begins. After that, every tracks will only play some seconds (~20s) as I just found out.
It happens in unattended mode. I had a lot of problems with earlier versions and things like this happend. But since 9z8.3 and 9z9bx I have no problems anymore, except this one. I think this is SFS related because it disapears when I increase SFS. Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: charliemb on April 23, 2016, 06:20:45 pm Hi Peter
This is a reply to a post from June 2013. In version 2.01, I encounter this also with 320 Kbps mp3 and only in unattended mode. To listen to 320 K mp3 I have to listen in attended mode. I would say this is not urgent for me. Nor would I ask you to put significant amount of time fixing it. I can always listen in Attended, as mp3 losses even at 320 are far greater than what is lost in Attended mode (say my ears); and also I rarely listen to MP3. Nah, this has been solved BUT is back again in a bit of a different way. I run into it some times myself, but I always forget to put it into my ToDo. But doing that now ! Thanks, Peter Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: JohanZ on April 28, 2016, 08:33:54 pm Hi Peter,
Today I was listening to a mp3 album in XXHE 2.02. Every track was ending before the real end of the track in unattended mode. When I switched to attended all was working ok. Regards Johan Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: PeterSt on April 29, 2016, 08:20:20 am Thank you Johan.
And yes, it is exactly that. Btw first track is always fine, I think. I will solve it. Peter Title: Re: With mp3 tracks are skipped Post by: PeterSt on May 28, 2016, 12:28:50 pm This is solved in 2.06.
