Title: HPET Timer and Time Performance Index Post by: Gerard on December 26, 2012, 01:19:45 pm Peter,
Does HPET timer have to be enabled again in the bios in order to get Time Performance Index working? I just can't set TPI to Optimal. It just reboot but after that it is not changed to Optimal. :) Title: Re: HPET Timer and Time Performance Index Post by: PeterSt on December 26, 2012, 01:27:05 pm The answer is Yes. But I think the ToolTip already suggests that ?
Please notice that outside what you read in the forum a lot happened to this subject, and what came from it is XTweaks. So, it is not just this timer and as often - what's suggested on the forum may not work at all in certain situations. This time it was me bringing up the subject, but as you may have read in the topic - I was already sorry I did, because it didn't work for all like it was suggested. With the XTweaks stuff it should be doable. And STILL it is not guaranteed that "Optimal" sounds best. But I think it will ... Really fine that is!!!!
Thanx But I think the ToolTip already suggests that ? This is not working. Meaning Tooltips for Time Performance Index. :) |
