Title: Reverse Phase Alignment Post by: Gerard on September 06, 2012, 10:24:02 pm Hey Peter,
I have the strangest thing. I put the new XX7-2 over the old XX7 and as you see the most weird thing happened with Phase Alignment . Instead of being engaged from 9dBFS to 0dBFS and OFF from 144.9dBFS to 10.5dBFS now it is reverse. Phase Alignment ON from 144.9dBFS to 9dBFS and OFF from 7.5dBFS to 0.0dBFS. Really at low volume PA really works and it not just the signs.(** and _ _) I tried many things to get rid of it. Many new XX install's and i did many system recovery's. But no succes. I guess i have to install a new OS. Or do you have another idear? is that weird huh? :) Title: Re: Reverse Phase Alignment Post by: GerardA on September 06, 2012, 10:51:12 pm Hi Gerard,
Are you sure of this? I still use z7-1 and there PA works below -9dB like yours does now. In my idea this is like it is supposed to. Greetings. Gerard. Title: Re: Reverse Phase Alignment Post by: PeterSt on September 07, 2012, 08:19:48 am Hey Gerard (not -A) ... any good translation of "schiet mij maar lek !" ? IOW, I don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about, except that you seem to be "reversed" yourself.
So, what you showed in the pictures is how it is supposed to work, and nothing of the other way around like you suggest it. That also never has been the case, wasn't intended to be so and was not written (by me) about like that. Maybe this is a sheer case of having read this post (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=2232.msg22801#msg22801), had a bad dream about it, woke up and saw all upside down ? Regards and all the best with your dream ! Haha Peter Title: Re: Reverse Phase Alignment Post by: Gerard on September 07, 2012, 01:25:45 pm Djeeeeez :blush2:

It seems clear to me that Phase Alignment is confusing everbody's brain. And I'm even almost serious ... |
