Title: Straight contiguous not working Post by: hifi25nl on August 21, 2012, 03:42:37 pm With my computer (windows 7 ultimate 32 bit 4GB memory) straight contiguous never worked (I have tried a lot of numbers for SFS, from very low to high).
I always receive a strange (for me) error message with a number like 4------ (six numbers after 4) Mixed is working. Title: Re: Straight contiguous not working Post by: CoenP on August 21, 2012, 05:03:06 pm Hi,
This is probably the result of a too large video buffer. Set your screen in the most simple mode you can still stand looking at (lower resolution 1024x.., 32 bit colours). You may even have to look into the bios if you can lower the videobuffer settings (if the cpu has an integrated graphics capability). Furthermore you need to start XX and press play asap after booting. I played with a sfs of 140 'straight contiguous' on a Atom d525 with 4G of memory. regards, Coen Title: Re: Straight contiguous not working Post by: PeterSt on August 22, 2012, 08:52:49 am Coen may be right. But before you are on the wrong track, can you provide a screenshot of that message ?
Thanks, Peter PS: Is "Mixed" working or is "Mixed Contiguous" also working ? Title: Re: Straight contiguous not working Post by: hifi25nl on August 22, 2012, 10:22:53 pm Before reading your answers, I have made a reboot and I have launched XXhighend just after and now is working.
Thank you for suggestions. |
