XXHighEnd

Hello!
I want to buy a tablet from my x-mas money and
want to know, which you could recommend for best results to play files via the xxhe?
Are there apps for the Ipad2 or the Galaxy 10.1 available to play the xxhe or are they planed for
the future ?
I have compared many audio player, the xxhe is still the best for my ears.

But about the best sounding, it is exactly about that. Nothing really available at the moment, but it will be there evemtually. Look here :  Remote Desktop connection with iPad (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=1728.0;all).

Might you want to buy one anyway (yes you do), get one with 3G. This gives more opportunities in this area.

I have an Acer W500 tablet. It comes with Windows 7 installed and as such it will run XX. It is almost completely silent. I currently don't use it for XX because I run Windows 8 (Developer Preview Version) on it which XX doesn't work with.

I haven't bugged Peter to get XX to run on Windows 8 yet because Windows 8 is still a work in progress. XX is not the only program that doesn't run on Windows 8.

I haven't needed one of these tablet things yet... but I'm eyeing this ... comes out in spring.

I probably wouldn't be using it for XXHE because of the wifi/bluetooth ... connection needed, and the fact that I kill all services via peter's button.

It is time for W8 anyway ...

I recently installed Win7 on my Acer W500 tablet and tested XX on it. The end result is that I can't recommend it. The sound quality was not on par with my main rig which is a dual core 2 Ghz laptop. I also tested a dual core 1 Ghz laptop and I can't recommend it ether. 

The reason I use laptops and tablets is because they are almost silent and are easier to be made silent by putting them in a hushbox. I used to use a desktop machine and watercooled it to remove all the fans but got tired of the mess and complexity of that.
