Yesterday i was downloading from HDtracks to test hirez for the first time.

The first message i got was "to high sampla rate"  because the slider was om "8"

But after this i can`t get any sound ?

I have tryed to install 0.9z-3 one more time and i have restarted the PC many times, nothing helps.

The day before this i was trying 09z-4 but the xxhighend was not starting.
This day after trying 0.9z-4 i was playing with 0.9z-3 without problems

I can imagine something here about that message, but can you tell me the exact message please (this one does not exist) ?

What happens if you set the slider to 1x (so 44.1 in -> 44.1 out) ?

In any case, when you play hires and want to have the output fixed (like always have 352.8 (384) output, the fx button must be active.

exact message:  Illegale sample Rate or Bit Depth Conversion implied  (8X and 768000 hz)

When the slider is on 1X everything looks OK, player starts but no sound?  (in 96000 hz, out 96000 hz)

By itself this is correct of course. Your max output (hence input to the DAC) is 348000 ...
But I still think this is because of that fx button not active. Otherwise ? a BUG. But, likely to fix for you by putting the slider to 4x.

Which is all not related to not getting sound of course ...

I didn't see a response to this. So yes, you tried the 1x, but not with 44.1.
So, the only thing I need to know (first) is whether normal redbook still plays. For you maybe obvious, but I really can't tell at this moment. And further : I have no problems at all with whatever hires, nor do I hear such from others. I only want to say : it can well be that something is wrong with your download. Maybe not, but that's why I need to know about the normal playback ...

And to make some shortcuts : when 44.1 normally plays, and you are sure you can't get some 96 track playing (of course you are), just send it to me (FileMail). But to keep in mind : all messages like you described above are just "preventive" messages so you won't select things which can't play anyway (with the 768 as one example). So, (disregarding bugs) these messages tell you that *you* do something wrong. Not that this is about you doing something wrong, but it may help you to track down what's going on. Ok ?

PS: And oh, when 44.1 1x plays, also try 44.1 2x. That's not the same as 1x96, but when 44.1 2x plays and 96 1x does not, it will be the download (the track). Almost guaranteed.

It is the same problem with redbook, no sound.  (slider = 1X   44.1 in -> 44.1 out )

When i look at the Juli dispay everything looks OK, sound-indicator is going up and down

The rightmost MON monitor is yellow ?
The innermost switch at the DAC is down ? The second from inner is also down ?
In XX you chose Is Phasure 384 ?
