Title: 0.9-z2 Post by: Timis on September 12, 2010, 05:34:58 pm I have problems with playing music with this version. After 55 sec on every track a short stop accures. Then music continous with other short stops now and then. I have never tried other versions because my unability to handle the program. Do I have to seek help to try other versions or do anyone have any suggestions? I use windows 7 with an ok new Intel processor

Try to shorten the "Split File size" parameter (Settings Area). Start off with 60 or so, and then go up until it starts to bother again. ... That is, I assume this is the culprit ... I first tried to lower "Split file size" to 60 and things got better, but still some minor stops accured. Then I went straight to 45 and my problems were gone. Can I just keep it there or should I try to optimize someway? I asume this doesn't influence the sound quality? :)

Otherwise, the Core Appointment Schemes allow for different spread of processor tasks, so you might try them too (maybe for fun only, and to obtain some experience). But notice that they too change SQ ! (no rules on this one) If you have further problems, shout them out. :) Peter |
