Title: FYI
Post by: boleary on July 30, 2010, 11:24:23 pm
Two days ago XX started to run very slow. Also, I started getting "Too Many Buffer errors" between tracks on playlists I've been playing for a long while. The error usually involved a native wave file that gets decoded as hdcd, but not always. (Ripped with dbPoweramp not WMP  ;)) I reinstalled and all is well again. No buffer errors and lightening fast. Wish I could say what happened but I have no clue.......

If your "Data folder" is not the same compared to the previous install, there could be a reason in there (further to sort out by me).
But if it stayed the same, I don't know ...

If th Data folder points to the XX folder itself, and you deleted all in there before doing the new install in the same folder, it implies the same as above.

In the Data folder things build up, and it may slow down eventually. But then all has been made for playing 23 hours daily max. Haha.
