XXHighEnd

Well, yesterday i finally tried the latest version on my music pc, where i was using the "stable" version which is y9.

z-2 stopped several times  when playing in the middle of a track. Note that i didnt try previous Z versions there.
Other times crashed.

Unfortunately I didnt have the logs enabled, so cant send em. Will try again on sunday or monday with logs.

Same thing with me! No errors though.

When you are up to it, let me know how you played (it's too much guessing now really).

Also, notice that you can try to avoid this with a different Q1 setting. Something like : the lower the Device Buffer setting, the sooner this can happen. But also : when this happens (which will be without crash or message or anything) the sound can just as well can come back after a while.
It happened to me 2 or 3 times at running very low latencies (Unattended).

Only one track, Handel - Furore - DiDonato track 1 or 2. Don't know exactly. Also I don't know which log is useful for you.

Oh dear ... Assumed it is not obvious what to look for in the log files, now I also have the variable of not being sure at which track to look.
Honestly, I don't like this very much.

Can't just just leave your logging on, and draw the log files when it happens again, you then being sure which track it is ?
And if you're at that anyway, please look whether XXEngine3.exe is still running when it got silent (and if it is, expect sound to continue suddenly at some stage).

Are you sure you are using the XXEngine3.exe from 23-06-2010 ?

Yep, XXHighEnd-09-z2, I can replace Engine3 to double check.

Checking that date is enough. Checking the version number says nothing !

OK, but how could it be different? :D I unpacked the 09-z2 archive to an empty directory.

Because you all out there prooved sufficiently enough you can do it wrong. That's all. :)
I didn't say you did, but you had to check it anyway, or otherwise I would be seeking for something which doesn't exist ...
Btw, in the very end I asked because the lot stops exactly where I solved something for 0.9z-2. Well, I thought I did. :wacko:

Another log, this time easier to figure things out - first track, first minute. Playback stops, XXHE goes back to Attended. This happens regardless of buffer size and sample rate used. Sometimes I can play whole album, but in most cases I can't get through it. Very annoying.

You mean it is just started, right ?

Well, you may think this is more easy, but the log files show nothing in this case. But ok, maybe it is the more important.
But please answer the question in bold above, because I can't imagine it ... Or try to describe exactly what happened.

Yes, it's like I'd start the player myself (double click XXHighEnd.exe).
