I know you asked me per PM with the suggestion I wouldn't like that (which I don't hehe), but that is not the reason I didn't answer. Just busy, and a bit difficult to find the time to look up these things of which I know they are just here in the forum somewhere. For the KS modes, look in the Release Notes from off the first KS version. Processor Settings, the same (look for the first Release Note mentioning Core Appointment). Split File size is about lowering the memory usage at the cost of reading more frequently from disk. The Tooltip should tell about it sufficiently (??). Q Influence : Q Parameter Settings (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=711.0) perhaps, but it doesn't say all that much. No User Manual available yet, but which will be there with version 1.00 (relatively soon now; keep in mind I promides that in November 2007 already, "soon" haha). But ... If you read the Release Notes right from the beginning (and try to skip the bug solvings) you pretty much know as much as everybody here right from the start. The advise, though, would be to start at the top (the newest) and then go downwards to the oldest. May take you a day or two ... I started reading all the postings the day before yesterday ( but in the opposite way!). A lot can be found indeed but it's a hell of a job. Also started to make "my own" user manual from the information found in the messages. What I also do is making an overview of my settings in combination with what my ears tell me! You will notice a little difference but also some commong things - they are usually the right settings :) |
