Title: Y7 hungs on XP Post by: ivo on March 02, 2010, 01:22:34 pm Hi Peter,
At my work. Have here XP. Downloaded Y7 and it ran, but could not get sound out of it. (built in soundcard). Now when running again, XX does not start, it hungs eating up CPU for 50%. Task manager shows xxhighend just eats 1/2 cpu and UI does not come up anymore. Reboot and re-download of Y7 did not help. ? Ivo p.s Also, on my Vista at work, no sound comes out of Y7, where it did with Y5-06. Error message pops like "No track given". At comparing (for the no sound thing) can you please compare the Special Mode situation ? I mean that one has remained completely untouched; Normal Mode did for a little thingy, of which I imagined it didn't make a difference. Please let me know. "no sound" seems different to me from a message telling you that the device can't play (or something). So now I'm confused, and I guess I don't know anymore what belongs to what (see your first post) ... and what was solved (partly) ... etc.
